Bimla Stone LLP is a black granite processor and exporter in Chamarajanagar, Karnataka, the heart of India's black granite belt. The company was set up in 2022 and builds on more than 25 years of black granite manufacturing and exports carried forward from its origins at Sri Minaxi Granites. Bimla Stone works only in black granite, including Ultimate Black, Premium Black, Absolute Black and Nova Black. Slabs come in three standard sizes (gangsaw 280 × 180 cm, mini gangsaw 240 × 140 cm and cutter 200 × 100 cm) in thicknesses from 2 to 10 cm, with polished, leathered, honed and flamed (manual or automatic) finishes. Blocks are hand-selected at the quarry, dressed on a mono wire saw, cut on a multi-wire saw and finished on a line polishing machine. Every fifth slab from a block is taken through the full process and checked before the rest of the block is cut. The factory is solar-powered and recycles its water, orders ship across India and worldwide in fumigated wooden crates, and samples are available before purchase.
